Happy Hump Day everyone!!  I hope all are enjoying there week and nice weather.  My thoughts and prayers are with those who are under tornado watches or are still suffering from the aftermath of the tornadoes.

Today I have another sneak peek to share with you: Home of the Free and Some Gave All to be released from Our Daily Bread Designs on Saturday, June 1.  With Memorial Day just being this past Monday and July 4th just around the corner, it seemed appropriate to make a card remembering all who have fought for our country's freedom.  Kelley has some awesome sets to be released with a patriotic theme.

I did want to say a special thank you to all of our service men and women who have given there lives and service that we may enjoy our freedoms, as well as to the families of those who have lost loved ones due to their service. You are and will not be forgotten!!

I made this card for TLC431 String it Up (at Splitcoast) , SC438 sketch designed by Cathy (at Splitcoast) as well as the ODBDSLC155 ODBD Shining the Light challenge which is to use Our Daily Bread Designs stamps and any dies and Word Art Wednesday which is Anything Goes (this challenge is very uplifting and inspirational -each week they offer free scripture/word art

Hello All!!  Happy Tuesday!! I hope all are doing well and had a great weekend!!  Sorry I have been MIA!! Life has been very busy at our house as of late and I have had lots on my mind which has taken away from my MOJO or creative abilities.

Today, however, I am popping in to share a sneak peek of two sets to be released at Our Daily Bread Designs on Saturday: Precious Girl and Precious Boy!!  I also made it as a sample for this week's Shining the Light challenge: To use ODBD Stamps and ODBD dies!!

In addition to the sneak peak stamps, I used the ODBD Custom Spellbinders Quatrefoil Pattern Die, Spellbinders Labels 26, and the Grand Scalloped Circle die.  The edges are embossed in Silver and the panels are dry embossed with the Darice Damask Embossing Folder.  The image is paper pieced with a piece of paper stamped with ODBD Gingham Background.

Hi all!! After having guests and overcoming illness in our house, I am back!!  Unfortunately I have not had much time to craft but I do have a card to share with you today.

I had fun creating a card with a SU set using Janette's Beautiful sketch at Splitcoast, SC437!!! I just love the ease and beauty of the Fabulous Florets stamp set and of course the color Blushing Bride!!!!

The background is created with a Darice Damask Embossing Folder that I brayed with Blushing Bride. The decorative layer is made with the Our Daily Bread Designs Quatrefoil Pattern die .

The two narrow panels are embossed with SU Basket Weave.

I hope all of you are well and are safe and sound.  My heart, thoughts, and Prayers go out to the many who have lost their homes and loved ones in the Midwest.  I can't imagine how so many must feel.  May God give you His peace and remain with you.

Thanks for stopping by!!   I so appreciate when you leave a comment so I know you were here.
I hope you are somehow inspired by my creation!!

Happy Tuesday Friends!! I hope you are all doing well!!!

Today I would like to share a card I made for the Shining the Light challenge at Our Daily Bread Designs!!

This week's challenge is:
Include an image or product with wood or stone.

Often I make more feminine or detailed cards but today I chose to make a masculine card.
For my wood product I made a boat/ship using The Waves on the Sea and the Fishing Net Background The image is framed with Elegant Ovals and Spellbinders Labels 21.  The background is also embossed in the SU Basket Weave Embossing Folder.  The papers are SU Real Rust and Kraft.  The sentiment is cut out with Spellbinders Ribbon Banners. The image is colored with copics and the water is painted with acrylic paint.

Happy Tuesday Friends!! I hope you all are receiving more sunshine than we are here in Virginia.  It is so hard to believe it is Spring.  Our temperatures have been in the 50's to low 60's, windy and rainy.  Just kind of blah and makes you feel tired and lazy.

With Mother's Day right around the corner, I thought I would make a Mother's Day card incorporating this week's Shining the Light challenge at ODBD which is to use four letters from the word Spring to make a card.  Using the sets Happy Mother's Day and Mother's Day as well as the Quatrefoil Pattern Die from Our Daily Bread designs, I created a card to meet this challenge.

Here are the letters and ingredients used:
S= Scallops, Silk, P= Pink, Poppy, R=Ribbon, I=Ink, N=Nestabilities, G=Green.

I apologize for the quality picture...I had an awful time photographing this card.

Our Daily Bread Designs, Chris Olsen, Happy Mother's Day, Mother's Day, Quatrefoil Pattern Die

My background was created by layering ink on my brayer and rolling it over an embossing folder (Darice Fleur De Lis).  The bow is created with Becca's peg bow maker and silk ribbon. The sentiment is created with the Happy Mother's Day Stamp set and the Custom Odbd Recipe and Tags die . The image is Mother's Day colored with copics cut out with the poppy die cut and adhered with dimensionals on the Spellbinders Labels four and Gold Labels Four

Card Recipe:
ODBD Stamps Used: Happy Mother's Day and Mother's Day
ODBD Dies Used:  Quatrefoil Pattern DieCustom Odbd Recipe and Tags die
Spellbinders Dies Used: Labels 4, Gold Labels Four and A2 Scalloped Borders One
Ink: Bridal Bouquet, Black, Copics

Happy Sunday all!! Today is my dear hubby's birthday so we are celebrating.  A little gloomy weather wise but this evening we get to visit with extended family!!

Today I would like to share a somewhat CAS card.

Many times I tend to create cards that are more feminine and detailed...today I am going for more CAS and masculine using  SC434 sketch over at Splitcoast.

This quote "A bad day of fishing is better than a good day or work" is probably true for all men...but lately I know my dear hubby would agree.

For my creations I used the amazing Cathedral Window Wood, Cathedral Window Marble and the Customized ODBD Cathedral Window and Border Die created by Spellbinders!!!  I just love these windows and dies!!

For my first creation, I decided to make a wedding luminary card with the Cathedral Window Wood stamped on vellum with versamark and embossed with copper.  It was placed beihnd the die cut Cathedral Window and Border die. The window is cut out so there is nothing behind the vellum and the light of the battery operated light can shine through.  The  stamped sentiment is created with Sweet William -Small and the Antique Labels and border dies. To create the shudders I cut off the two sides from a second die cut window and adhered them with permanent adhesive.  The flourishes are created with the Cheery Lynn Fanciful Flourish Die.  The top of my card is created with the A2 Scalloped Borders one.  The background of my card is embossed with a Darice Fleur De Lis embossing folder.  The foliage is created with the Martha Stewart twig punch.  The little roses are created with the Spellbinders Cherry Blossoms die

Here is the view from the side:

My second creation also uses the Customized ODBD Cathedral Window and Border Die, however, it uses the Cathedral Window Marble embossed in copper over vellum to create a Mother's Day card.  The background of my card is created with Bridal Bouquet ink and the Darie Fleur De Lis embossing folder ( I brayered the ink on the negative side of the folder before running it through my Grand Caliber.  The little roses and branches are created with the Spellbinders Cherry Blossoms die.  The background panel behind the window is created with the ODBD Quatrefoil Pattern Die.  The bow is created with Becca's peg bow maker and silk ribbon.  The sentiment is created with the Happy Mother's Day Stamp set and the Custom Odbd Recipe and Tags die.

Here is a picture of the dies and stamps released today from Our Daily Bread designs which I used on my cards:

Here are two pictures of cards previously posted for sneak peeks using the Fishing Themed stamps sets:

For the card above I used the Stamps: Fishing and The Waves on the Sea.  You can find more details by clicking here.

For the second card above, I used The Waves on the Sea, the fish  net background, and the Mighty Sea.  You can view more details here.

Here are the stamp sets (new release sets) used for these two cards :

I hope you are somehow inspired by my creations!!  Thanks for stopping by.  Enjoy the hop!!
From here you will hop to the sweet and talented Angie's blog!!

Have a blessed day!!
